Valentines 2011

I love holidays and while single I still love Valentine’s Day.   This year I am hosting a Love Thy self party for my women’s bible study group.  This means I had to get the house ready for the Love bug. 

 

Most of the décor is in the family room but Amor is in the air.  The rest of the house is next. My life is a little crazy right now.  Going to Grad school, doing home improvement, hosting a women’s  gathering, helping a friend plan her wedding, Decorating and trying to complete  3 home improvement projects….  Sorry had to get that off my chest.  Life is good. Winter Mantel

This year one of my new year’s resolutions was to participate more in blog challenges.  So fighting a cold (from painting in a freezing garage for another project) I finally was able to crawl out of bed, find my camera and take a photo of my fireplace mantle.  I think it is the perfect transition from Christmas to Valentine’s Day.    I was a little late to attact to the link challenge but I wanted to post it anyway, now I am going to get me some hot coco.
