I love home improvement and anytime a come across anything that deals with improving my home I print it out and save it for later. The problem is that they are starting to pile up. So to tackle my growing pile of idea clutter, I have the perfect solution, use the file crate sitting in the garage holding my leftover newspaper; which I was going to use in the garden. Being thrifty, of course I used a lot of the items I had around the house and only spent $7 at Hobby Lobby buying gift wrapping paper and Elmer's glue. Looking at the finished project, I love the look and can't believe I didn't do this earlier. It will look great in the study once I finish updating it.
SUPPLIES:
- Silver spray paint
- Spray adhesive & glue
- File crate
- Decorative paper (I used rapping paper)
- Hanging file folders
- Handing file folder labels
- Scrap cardboard

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea! I love the pattern and silver together - I never would've thought to do something that cool with that plastic basket! :)
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say a big THANKS for having This Fresh Fossil in your blog roll! It totally made me smile when I stumbled across it. :)
