On one of my recent trips required me to travel to Galveston, Texas. The drive there was long but I had a great time with my friend Valerie. I was afraid that the oil spill disaster in the gulf was going to destroy the beauty of the Texas coastline. I am so happy to tell you that the beaches are clean and oil free, though the water was cold. I spend a lot of free time walking the beach picking up sea shells with my other committee members.
I can’t wait for summer so I can pull out all the shells and photo for display. My coworker took a few photos in black and white. They are amazing. I am definitely thinking of planning a girl’s getaway to Galveston for next year, just not in October. The food was good and the people were great I was just a little chilly.
