I just couldn’t take it any longer. The spindles had to go!! The spindles were dating the family and kitchen. I have seen so many other bloggers removing their spindles, so I though it can’t be that hard. Grabbing a hammer, hand saw, jig saw, pliers and some joint compound; I didn’t have any wood putty but I will be adding it to my keep at hand list. I seized all my tools said a prayer for courage then went into remodel mode. The whole project took me about 2 hours. It was a learning experience and I think the rooms’ looks really good.
