As you may know I attend an organic gardening club that meets once a month. The Hostess /teacher for the group has been doing organic landscaping for 15+ years. I love attending the class and it is a wealth of information. Not only am I learning what to do and not do for my area but every once in a while we get free plants from Jim Stegall of Stegall’s Nursery & Plant Farm.
It just so happens that for the month of December we were gifted with not one pallet but 3 pallets of winter plants. I finally got around to taking a photo of these beauties when I had to bring them inside the garage for the winter blast that hit the north Texas area. Sadly, I was unable to get the last pot on the outer left corner of the house because it is way too heavy to move. Lucy says that the worst case the blooms will turn brown and the leaves will get winter burn. They will pep back us with a little care, sun and warm weather. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. They are beautiful and I hope you enjoy.
Ciao,
