On Courage
Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage.
One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.
Courage allows the successful woman to fail and learn powerful lessons- from the failure- so that in the end, she didn't fail at all.
On Life
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.
Life loves to be taken by the lapel and told: ''I'm with you kid. Let's go."
On Attitude, Success and Achievement
If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.Nothing will work unless you do.
We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.
You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don't make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can't take their eyes off you.
Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.
Troubles are a blessing that force you to change, to believe.
Ask for what you want and be prepared to get it.
I can be changed by what happens to me. but I refuse to be reduced by it.
